Scavenger Hunt

This archive of Images depicts many photos of American major league baseball between the years of 1860’s-1960’s. Also, this collection talks about how Jackie Robinson was the first African American baseball player in the major leagues and broke the segregation practice in the 19th century. This was an extremely important time in history and these photos are a good indication of what baseball was like in the 19th century. Jackie Robinson was an epic player not only because of his amazing baseball skills, but a courageous man who was bold enough to play during a time where segregation was in full force. In this archive there are multiple pictures of the Negro Leagues as well as historical stories about major league baseball.
