This Statue is located outside the main entrance of the Ball Park. Willie Mays was a famous baseball player for the San Francisco Giants in 1954, and was extremely successful. This statue commemorates his contribution to the Giants and is the first thing you see when you are walking into AT&T Park. A lot of people take pictures in front of it before the game and it is a good topic for a history lesson on one of the greatest baseball players of all time.
